PhD candidates at universities outside the US may particularly miss the institutional support American universities provide. An academic writing coach fills those gaps.
We focus on the writing process. There is a formula for academic writing: 80% is organizing your information. If you want effective tools for organizing your research, conquering procrastination, and navigating social and emotional blocks to writing, we can help.
Your academic writing coach will help you turn the writing process into manageable tasks, get your chapters done on deadline, and write without cramming into the wee hours of the night.
We also coach candidates with ADHD or other disorders or issues that disrupt the writing process.

Support you through the process of planning, writing, and submitting your PhD dissertation (US) / thesis (UK).
What we’ll do
- Talk with you on a regular basis (weekly / by-weekly / monthly, as agreed in advance)
- Outline the academic writing process; break your project down into do-able tasks
- Develop a feasible work rhythm based on your employment / family / living situation
- Suggest techniques for rejuvenation and sanity checks
- Encourage and motivate truthfully, based on what you are really doing

Rates
120 USD per session. Payment is required before the appointment.
