Your writing, better.
We develop, copy edit, and proofread text for clear, effective content.
Writing of any kind is a challenge because meaning is so important, yet difficult to convey clearly. Our editing approach is based largely on learnings from “The Elements of Style” by Strunk & White and “Stylish Academic Writing” by Sword. Your meaning should be clear and we help make any subject coherent and even engaging.
We are experienced, thorough editors whose first concern is clear writing fit for purpose.
Our Clients
We edit popular books based on scholarly work by professors at higher education institutions in the United States, Canada, and Europe. We also help faculty and graduate students with articles for publication in academic journals.
Fiction authors engage us when writer’s block strikes and/or before self-publishing.

Each writing project is different and our mandate depends on the needs of the author.
Our Services
Scholarly Works
Did you submit an article and receive a review requesting revisions? Are you preparing a book for publication? Is your doctoral dissertation stalled? We work with academics and scholars to develop, revise, and edit text at proposal, draft, or revision stages.
Professional Material
Is your annual report overly verbose? Did you commission a white paper that came back stilted, dull, and much too long? Are you creating new content for your website? When your writing represents your professional prowess, we make sure it’s flawless.
Academic Writing Coach
A PhD project is enormous – almost too big. Everyone who writes a PhD can use support, methodological tips, or an accountability coach. PhD candidates at universities outside the US may particularly miss the institutional support American universities provide. An academic writing coach fills those gaps.
Please see Our Services for an introduction to our approach and process. When you’re ready for editing or coaching, contact us and we’ll tailor a quote just for you. No project is too big—or too small!
